For IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Niagara Falls, NY (April 22, 2022): Harris Healthcare is excited to welcome Simon Beck, Harris Healthcare’s new VP of Sales & Marketing, and James Boys our new UK & International Sales Director.
Boys’ newly created role at Harris Healthcare aims to build on the company’s ambition to continue expanding its existing customer base and introduce new solutions into the NHS and international markets.
Based in the UK, Boys brings many years of experience in Healthcare IT to his new role and joins the company from Sunquest Information Systems where he led the International Business Development team and was responsible for the growth of ICE (Integrated Clinical Environment) programme in the UK market. More recently, Boys drove Sunquest’s retention and expansion of international customer base in Europe and the Middle East, along with several new logo statewide deals in Australia.
Boys is excited to embark on this new opportunity and stated: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to work for Harris Healthcare and am looking forward to continuing the partnership with the NHS. The Harris teams have extensive experience in EPR/PAS solutions which not only help Trusts get to HIMMS Level 5 accreditation but also yield strong returns on investment and significant Benefits Realisation. They are also adding in new products into the market including Interface Monitor and Nurse Staffing solutions which can only help NHS Trusts better adapt to the post pandemic situation that now exists.”
As for our new VP of Sales and Marketing, Simon Beck, he is originally also from the UK. Beck now resides in the USA where he acquired invaluable experience in digital health, while keeping abreast of the healthcare transformation occurring throughout his native country.
“The pandemic has highlighted the importance of accelerating digital transformations at all healthcare facilities to effectively handle new and augmented demands while continuing to provide quality care” says Beck. He adds: “We need flexible solutions that can easily be adapted to both, the facility and governmental requirements while supporting clinicians in their treatment and care decisions at the same time enhancing patient safety and empowering their health journey. I am delighted to be working alongside James and Harris Healthcare to bring exciting innovation and technology to the UK healthcare market”.
Harris Healthcare’s Flex, our flagship enterprise-level Electronic Patient/Health Record (EPR/EHR) system integrates all aspects of patient care into a single, confidential, computer-based patient record. The benefits of Flex were magnified during the last years as the world battled and continues to battle COVID-19.
